Anita asked in the comments a few days ago what was up with the fertility tests I went for in late December. Last we heard, the yuletide holidays left things a bit backed up. The sperm aneuploidy test was supposed to be run last week and the sample being sent to South Dakota for sperm chromatin structure assay (SCSA) was going to be sent off at the same time. Apparently, they group samples and send them off as a batch. Originally, we were hoping to have results in about 18 days, but I don't know when the countdown for that starts (obviously, it didn't start from the time of sample provision).
Other than that, we're just laying low and waiting before we figure out what our next step will be -- adoption? IUI with donor sperm? IVF with donor eggs? surrogacy? ...?
