Earlier this summer when we changed over our house from no cable television/traditional phone line/dial up Internet access to subbasic cable/VoIP/cable modem, one question was would the basic 500-minute Vonage plan be enough talk time for us. Since when it comes to our cell plans, Evelin and I are Paygoists and never really need to worry about capped plan minutes, we didn't have a good feel for how much time we actually spend on the phone.
Last month was the first where we were fully transitioned off the landline and using only VoIP, but, because of Hurricane Katrina, we (mostly me) naturally went over that 500 minute cap. Today, I got our latest bill and we used <drumroll>...</drumroll> 499 minutes. That just makes me smile.
