The One-Month Novel
Has anyone heard of this before -- NaNoWriMo? I'm not sure what to think of a project designed to encourage people to write a novel -- or at least 50,000 words -- in a month. Part of why I'm blogging is to force myself to write, but I it doesn't force me to really structure my writing. Maybe it would do me good to produce "the Great Frantic Novel," as NaNoWriMo describes things. If I started today, that would mean needing to write 1,851.85 words per day until the end of the month ... hurm. My entry about Sunday was 652 words, so 1,199.85 words more than that. Everyday. While dealing with IVF and work. Hurm ...
