Okay, we don't have a specific time yet, but Evelin called and said that we are go for triggering ovulation tonight. This means retrieval on Friday. The E2 levels are still rising, but the doctors are really worried about ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome (OHSS), which Evelin is at risk for based on her response thus far to all the drugs, her high E2 levels, and past experience during IUI cycles. This means we aren't giving the other follicles too much more development time, but we should end up with enough embryos to move on to the next stage ... preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
ADDENDUM: Okay, I have the word. We trigger at 12:15 a.m., which means an afternoon OR slot on Friday.
