Apparently, Celeste is keeping up with the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle's journal Zoosystema better than I am:
Marine biologists have discovered a crustacean in the South Pacific that resembles a lobster and which is covered in what looks like silky fur. Kiwa hirsuta is so distinct from other species that scientists have created a new taxonomic family for it.— from BBC News, more at Ifremer (en français), Washington Post and The Age (good picture).
Technorati tags: lobster
Children are so fantastic!
PS: thank you for the postcard! (I'm /fleacircus at postcrossing).
