Well, I have the house to myself for a few days. Yesterday, I drove Evelin up to New Jersey to spend a few days with her sister and our new niece. It was a nice day for a drive (actually, too nice for a drive; it would have been nice to have a hike, instead), and we made it up to Teaneck in time to visit with Evelin's parents before they headed back to Massachusetts.
Evelin's mother spilled the beans to M---, Evelin's sister, about the pregnancy. Originally, we were going to wait until after the amnio before telling too many people, but that's out now, I guess. I had better call my grandmother soon ...
On the plus side, M--- knowing meant she passed along a pile of pregnancy books and maternity clothes to Evelin.
