Mock Transfer

Well, we're on the way to IVF-ville. Yesterday was the mock transfer, basically a trial run of what would be done to transfer the embryos to Evelin's uterus. The doctor said that all went smoothly, and Evelin said it was only a little uncomfortable. We now have the drug protocols (and will be starting LOTS of injections in a few weeks), and we are on track to do the real transfer somewhere around Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed.

On the baseball side, "The K Chronicles" has a pretty harsh (and totally deserved) view of Game 7, and, after a terrible 0-13 loss to the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks (ダイエー) in Game 2, the Hanshin Tigers (阪神) picked up their first win of the 2003 Japan Series a few hours ago in extra innings (Game 3 had been delayed due to rain). The Hawks lead the series 2-1 ... and the Tigers are cursed, but hopefully they'll pull out three more wins.
